Installation Instructions
CAUTION:
Do not restrict the bypass portion of this thermostat.
Engine damage WILL occur! The thermostat will
automatically restrict bypass flow as temperature
increases.

- Required Items:
1 - 3/4" Barbed Tee Fitting
6 - 1" Stainless Steel Hose Clamps
3/4" Coolant Line Hose (as required)
Please use diagram in addition to the following
instructions.
Step 1:
- Cut lower radiator line
and install Tee Fitting using 2 stainless steel hose
clamps.
- Step 2:
- Cut upper radiator line
and install thermostat using 2 stainless steel hose
clamps.
- Step 3:
- Install bypass hose
between bottom outlet and tee in the lower radiator line
using 2 stainless steel hose clamps.

Remember, if the temperature sensor for your temperature
gauge is in the radiator, it will no longer show actual
engine coolant temperature. It will only show the
temperature of the coolant in the radiator. |
